The Rulebook

This is a work-in-progress section. It's intended to be a dry and technical layout of the entire game ruleset which this website uses.

Eventually, it might be possible to link up the rules with the internal testing of the game engine, since the unit tests have been written to map 1 rule to 1 test, and act as documentation.

The final goal might be to have the following - whenever there is a bug or a questioning on the rules, an entry can be written here with a link to a pre-set table that proves the condition or rule to be respected within the game client.

This way, users can check each rule visually for their own confirmation.

Online Riichi has been written by taking examples almost entirely from https://riichi.wiki, this can be used a reference for the time being to confirm what rules are in play.

The scoring calculator can be used to confirm scoring rules.
